I know people out there are opposed to illegal downloading and whatnot but the Appropriate Technology Library is being posted to the Demonoid bittorrent tracker. The first 3 CDs are up. I think all of the information is actually public domain stuff anyways.

Also, the guy uploading them has some other good torrents up there as well.

We have this at Factor E Farm (http://openfarmtech.org), it's pretty cool. It has a lot of pamphlets, short booklets, UN and gov't papers. There's some useful stuff but it takes some sorting through to find something you need. Some of the stuff is specific to certain countries/areas. So far I've basically used it to look for ideas to help do things like using/helping design wood stoves and look up stuff on sawmilling.

I bought the CD set on sale for like 50% off and it was still really expensive!

There is a hardcover book called the Appropriate Technology Sourcebook that is the index, but the basic breakdown (INDEX) is on their web site. Makes things a lot easier to find. A few documents didn't make it to the CD set, but just a few.

AWESOME RESOURCE!

Looks like someone hasn't updated their domain info.
