Everybody! Walter Williams is on instead of Limbaugh today! :D He's kickin ass on the neocons, the bailouts, etc. He's the closest thing to RP in the mainstream republican right, IMHO. Enjoy!

He has the same problem Kudlow does. He doesnt realize how far gone we are from capitalism.

+.5 Today, he made a brief mention of how uncapitalistic current policy is. He does usually blame the right people, tho. He's not RP, but he's the best I've heard in the "mainstream" right wing.

Hes one of the types who think we gotta protect our capitalist system from the socialists coming to destroy it. He just doesn't realize that the capitalist system he wants to protect, doesn't exist anymore.

True, but he's better than the usual neocons who don't point out the socialistic nature of modern "government". He did condemn the Fed, Paulson, fiat money, and government inflation/spending, the warfare/welfare state a bit, endorsed laissez-faire and Thomas Paine's ideas, and advocated the gold standard, which is a cool start by me. :) I never said he's perfect, ya know. ;)

So, what happens when the lady who can't mow her own lawn and can't pay for it doesn't do it and it lowers the value of the neighbors around her? they could take her to court but that won't help much because she still can't get it done or pay for it...so eventually people are either going to have to suck it up and allow the prices of their houses to go down or someone is going to be forced to mow it by the government (which is slavery)....so if she can't do it, who will?

This town doesn't have ANY volunteer/non-profit organizations that help the elderly with such things? Highly unlikely.

those neighbors that are 'really' worried about their community would offer to do it.

I frequently mow my neighbors' yards when I feel like it; never recieved any complaints from doing it. ;)
