Selling off roads and parks to private hands would take the burden off government but just who/what gets to manage these assets becomes the next issue? Should they sell our National Parks? I'm on the fence right now on this since Obama looks as though he'll push through a major stimulus/funding into public works. Thus, it leaves the door wide open for government contractor corruption etc...more so than happens now I suppose. I also see the lobbyist getting deeply involved here as well...ugh

I bet it is going to be done the wrong way. In a way that just replaces one monopoly with another.

Hopefully the federal government will start to sell off its land holdings too... oh wait a minute... they don't have to because they can just print more money.
