This is a personal passion for me...Just as I feel that I have certain things I must do to satisfy my religion, my God, I also feel that this is one of them.
I feel that if my body is a temple, and we should not harm it at all, I take it very literal, and feel this should include the poisons in out food and that we put onto our skin, clean out homes with, etc.
It goes even further than that, though. It is my *job* as a step mom and a wife, hopefully one day a mother to take care of my family and shield them from as much harm as I humanly can..The easiest way for me to do this is my not allowing anything bad to by put into their bodies. No, I cannot avoid EVERYTHING, and we should not be obsessive about every little thing, but we should take it seriously, and it should be important.
I am a research fanatic, always have been, and I have known for a long time the risks involved in vaccines. Not only for the mercury, the hidden risk in all vaccines, some which you may find to be worth it, some you may find aren't... there is also the fact that vaccines go against every moral fiber inside of me.
Firstly, why would you give an infant, with a very low tolerance to illnesses and a weak immune system, a bunch of diseases that humans can barely handle without at the very least pitching a hissy fit? How is this fair? Secondly, Why can't you just make sure your child has little exposure to sick people, and learn to be a good parent and just learn the different ways to prevent these illnesses and make them better, which does not exclude a good diet?
Thirdly- and this is most important. Even if there were no other risks associated with these vaccines, there is one thing about them that goes against everything I personally stand for. Though I am politically prochoice, I am personally prolife, and will do everything within my power to never ever *contribute* to this problem in my own life...in other words, I just want another's decision to abort to have nothing to do with me. As I feel it is wrong, how then would I decide to use vaccine that started out as human babies, aborted just for the use of their little bodies? And yet so many different religions stand against abortion and homosexuality in the public arena? Why not rally the troops against inject YOUR children with products made from exactly what you are against?
For those of you who do not know, the vaccines all have a cell line within their ingredients. These are not magically labeled:"dead babies", they are however named as follows:

WI-38
(Lung, diploid, human)

The WI-38 human diploid cell line was derived by L. Hayflick from normal embryonic (3-month gestation) lung tissue of a female (Exp. Cell Res. 25: 585, 1961). The growth medium used was Eagle's medium in Earle's balanced salt solution supplemented with 10% calf serum. The cells have a finite lifetime of 50 (plus or minus 10) population doublings with a doubling time of 24 hours (Exp. Cell Res. 37: 614, 1965). The cell line has been shown to have one of the broadest human virus spectra of any cell population that has been tested and is especially useful for isolation of rhinoviruses.
Culture Medium
Minimum essential medium (Eagle), with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum.
Common Utilization
Supports the growth of a broad range of viruses, including Adenoviruses; Coxsackie A; Cytomegalovirus; Echovirus; Herpes simplex Virus; Poliovirus; Respiratory Syncytial Virus; Rhinovirus; and Varicella Zoster Virus. Also used for in vitro cytotoxicity testing.
MRC-5 (Lung, diploid, human)

Derived from normal lung tissue of a 14-week-old male fetus by J. P. Jacobs in September 1966 (Nature 227: 168-170, 1970), the MRC-5 cell line was established in a growth medium consisting of Earle's Basal Medium in Earle's balanced salt solution supplemented with 10% calf serum. Following initial cultivation, subcultures were prepared twice weekly at a 1:2 ratio. When the cells reached approximately the 7th population doubling, the majority of the cultures were harvested to prepare a frozen cell stock. Subsequent observations revealed that the MRC-5 cells are capable of attaining 42-46 population doublings before onset of the decline in proliferation usually experienced with human fibroblast lines. The MRC-5 cell strain (like the WI-38 cell line) is susceptible to a wide range of human viruses.

PER6 is a never cell line that I cannot find much info on...

All of this ,as a Christian, agitates me. It especially agitates me that LOTS of my own people have these vaccines in their own children, all while claiming to be prolife, especially politically. I will not allow it.

Now, I understand that some people live in crowded areas, or their children go to public schools, and the like, and for them it is not worth the risk of going without a vaccine.
But, as for me and my family, nuh-uh, mister.
