Idiotic earmarks for 2008?

I ran across this article about some of the stupid ways our idiotic Congress (Dr. Paul excluded) found to waste more of our money.

Now since this is a mainstream media article I figure they left out quite a bit of other, even more idiotic, instances of wasting taxpayer money for the year 2008. Obviously they pissed away our money with bailouts but what else is there. I know some of you guys will come up with some good ones.

Here is one... It seems that Maryland's own Babs Mikulski decided the taxpayer should spend $267,900 for Asian-American families in Maryland who had kids who were thinking of dropping out of school.
