Is now the time and age for us to have another Constitutional Convention? With such ignorant and power-hungry legislators tainting the seats of our lawmaking chambers today, I'm afraid this would be such a horrible time to do so. Dr. Baldwin seems to be of that same persuasion himself. Read his article here (http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin480.htm), and decide for yourself.

He provided a link. It's under the word "here" in his post. I've reposted it again below:

I would like more info on the states that have recinded this measure. Each state has gone through far too many administrations to have the same agenda.

Prediction: A final document NEW CONstitution will bear a very strong resemblance to the U.N. Charter. :p

The road to hell is paved with the most optimistic of "do something" good intentions, gone bad.

Reality RULES!!!

Beware the "Law of Unitended Consequences".

Look at it this way: tyranny requires infrastructure. Everything evil the Nazis did was legal at the time they did it, because an appropriate act or legislation was put in place to codify it beforehand. Every aspect of the total state we have been complaining about was put in place, unconstitutional brick by brick, through a new law or bureaucracy here, a regulation or policy there, a corrupt court decision, etc. Where were we when each of these, in effect, mini con-cons were going on? Do we only get motivated to resist when a big, gigantic con-con comes along to re-write our freedoms into non-existence, but not when these myriad small re-writes do the same thing?

We need to be mounting massive movements to stop or reverse ALL the enemy's institutionalizations of centralized power throughout the political game, and not hope we can block the big touchdown pass at the end of the Super Bowl. They're only going for broke now with the con-con, because they've already run up the score for several generations by stealth, and so feel confident they can cap off their gains now.
