I always assumed that if you attack a u.s. president you would be taken out. It took the secret service too damn long to get in between him and the president personally. Not that I care for bush at all BUT if and when we have a president worth protecting I would hope the s.s. would be able to act much faster than they did.

Yes he did get "Time" for this BUT he is a damn martyr now for his people, people are worshipping this guy pretty much. I think he will be ok no matter what they try and say is going to happen to him. If they punish this guy too much there might actually be a decent revolt in that nation AGAINST the u.s. occupation.

They don't want us there, they hate bush and want him to leave BUT us dumb americans trying to spread "Freedom" and "democracy" everywhere.... Or blow them to high hell if they don't accept our freedom.
