At least some of the people who were glad to see Jackson Lee come to Galveston said they have had trouble finding their own congressman. Others have said they haven’t seen much evidence of interest in the plight of those affected by the storm.

If you check Paul’s Web site, for example, you will find he has a lot to say about gun control, the federal reserve and the bailout.

At a time when local folks are urging each other to bring back their businesses as quickly as possible, you might expect to see a congressional office in a community that’s been run over by a storm.

Should he have something about the hurricane on his congressional website?

Didn't RP say something a while back to the effect that many of his constituents voiced opposition to the federal gov't intervening in rebuilding??

The papers attack Paul all the time. You should have seen some of the texas print media's articles on him during the primary, ouch! They of course all took the side of the guy running against him for the R spot in his district too.

It always comes down too "he isn't here, hes always on national crusades and not looking out for his district", ect.

The papers would not be happy if he was 50 feet tall and cleaning up debris by hand!

I'd be pretty happy if he was 50-feet-tall. He could step on Gitmo; pick up warships parked in the Persian Gulf and chuck them in outer space; and then come back and pretend the President's motorcade is a set of Hotwheels toys. :D
