Notice the "Forgotten Man" -- the person who had any money SAVED is never mentioned... and what happened to that guy?

Oh yeah... inflation sure worked wonders didn't it... why the depression only lasted for another... TEN + YEARS -- a whole DECADE.

And never mind that all previous recessions/depressions typically lasted for less than 2 years.

What's interesting about the video is, they said wages would go up, but they didn't meniton that inflation would grow faster, leaving you poorer. I don't know when that was made, but if I had to guess it would have been justification for getting us off the gold standard, so dollars could be devalued.

I remember my one teacher in Middle School would show those old Newsreels. I do think she did show that one.
