I saw on ESPN today, a Texas Congressman, not Dr. Paul,
is insisting that if the NCAA doesn't institute a playoff system
that they will put a Bill forward to make them do it.

I don't have a link but I'm sure its out there.

Do they not have more pressing matters than College Football
to worry about?
I mean seriously, WTF?

This guy literally told the chairman of the BCS that if they didn't do it Congress would make them do it.

This is what Congress does when they have too much time on their hands. They should be required to meet one month a year, and that is it for the entire year, unless the President calls an emergency session to declare war or something of that nature.

it would be nice to only get royally screwed by our elected officials one month out the year.

I wouldn't be surprised if some members of congress have a stake in gambling on the NCAA playoffs and so forth. :p
