Richard Haas is the president of the CFR. He's a big one-worlder traitorous POS.

State sovereignty must be altered in globalized era

In the age of globalization, states should give up some sovereignty to world bodies in order to protect their own interests

Here's the whole show, just started watching:

Hahaha, I don't think Colbert will be invited to join. Haass looked like he is used to getting his ass kissed rather than insulted. :)

If you look at this

You'll see Obama ISN'T Change, he's loading up on CFR members just like all the ones before him.

He never denied Colbert's assertion that the CFR rules the world instead he comes right out and says that they're not just maneuvering states and countries but corporations, industries, foundations, terrorists, schools, CNN. He also has an affinty for the phrase "What's so interesting."

Ugh... China can't have millions of unemployed workers but we can?

I think that was one of Colbert's best interviews.

How do people get brought up to run the world like these people though? I mean where did that line start, does a dad actually sit down with his son and say "son, we actually run the world, BUT can't tell anyone." and someday he too will follow in dads footsteps to make money and run things no matter who or what it hurts.

Who is raising up these devil babies that do nothing but evil once they get of age?

It is the pretense of knowledge. The belief that they are superior and therefore are not only justified in using their power to influence the world but it is their responsibility to do so in order to make it a better place, eventually.

Someone like this believes the ends justifies the means, but to act on it reveals that he is so certain he is correct in his calculations about what the ends are and how he can influence them that he is willing to do harm to see out his solution. This is the audacity of elitism. There are many arguments that can be used to support this position, such as "if I don't do it, someone else will, and better me than them."

It is fundamentally an anti-Liberty position, but not entirely indefensible.

I wondered the exact same thing. So I read David Rockefeller's autobiography Memoirs (didn't buy it, library ;) ). The book, written in first person, describes his childhood, his career at Chase, and meetings (no subject details) with global leaders.

I think you're close, what the Dad says is "We run part of the world, or control this industry, now how we can control more of the world." And they consort with people who are in the same position.

As you might imagine, the son or daughter of a John Rockefeller was raised with an outlook on life different from anyone in the world. They were taught their money could buy access to any global leader they wanted to choose, and they therefore could affect great change.

Haas was on NPR yesterday. I yelled at my radio but it didn't do any good.

Hes said something very important about our trade relations with China. Colbert pretty much called him out on it. He thinks that when we borrow money from China and use that money to buy Chinese products, its a mutually beneficial trade.
