Great. All we need is an energy secretary who is against drilling for more oil because he is fearful of global warming.

In other news, it is snowing in New Orleans today.

The countdown to the most important decision of this decade has begun - the UN Climate Summit COP15 in December 2009. The next global treaty will be decided in Copenhagen, with huge implications for businesses and citizens. Climate change can be the biggest financial risk in the future; at the same time, the challenges can be converted into the greatest financial opportunity of all times. New solutions are urgently needed, and the year towards COP 15 is critical.

It is great to see there are still many who are defecting back to the side of reason.

yes, snowing in New Orleans today. I saw that also and thought, "I should go for a drive in my gas guzzler to increase my carbon footprint and slow down this global cooling!"

Its good to see someone technically qualified to run a department rather than the unqualified lawyers (most of them) and cronies (heck of a job, Brownie!) who are usually chosen.
