What are we doing for the RNC January Meeting?

The RNC has a "find-itself" meeting in January in Washington, DC.

What are we the Ron Paul supporters going to do to influence the outcome of this internal conflict?

This is the event where the RNC chair is chosen.

I definitely think we should do everything we can to keep Saul Anuzis from getting the chair. Remember Saul tried to get Ron kicked out of the debates.

Would be nice if we organized something BIG. One thing we can be sure of is that we will not be allowed to participate on the same level as everyone else. With that in mind, it would be nice if we had enough people there to surround the building.

It would be a powerful symbol. The majority who want into the GOP not being allowed inside (metaphorically and physically).

The question is, can we gather the masses?

The question is, can we gather the masses?I dunno. 1- who in the bloody hell want's to go to DC in January? 2-would we be able to get enough people to make the news and have an impact? 3-would our efforts be marginalized?

The good news is that gas is inexpensive these days so traveling isn't so expensive.

Is the Campaign for Liberty promoting awareness of this? Organizing anything?

Maybe a few of us locals can go there. I might go there to observe.

Many of the consultants will be hanging out as well.

Should be an interesting mix of of liberals, moderates, conservatives and libertarian RNC officials there.

Okay, first of all all the local Ron Paul/Libertarian/Campaign for Liberty meetup groups need to go there and protest and yell and try to get in. Secondly, the C4L needs to promote this event and ask the grassroots to email/fax/phone call the convention and chairmen and gop. The C4L needs to get active on this and help get people there. Mobilization is always the biggest obstacle. Why not invite the anti-war protesters too? Thats always fun.

All the Freedom Movement internet sites need to cooperate and work together and promote this thing and help organize people. Again, the C4L could take the lead and coordinate this effort. If we had thousands of people there, it would definitely make the news. "The R3VOLUTION it seems is not dead." Activism grows the movement and recruits new people. Most people get their info from the boob tube picture show so that means if we had thousands of Ron Paul Revolutionaires there, it would probably make people realize that we're not going away and that we are right
