Is anyone listening to this live on NPR right now? I have a couple of questions.....

Why are people questioning the General even before he gives his speech?
How did they decide which Congressmen or Committee members get to talk?

Finally, why isn't Ron Paul addressing and questioning Patreus on Iraq? Isn't he on the International Affairs Committee?

Duncan Hunter is on right now speaking before Patreus and Congress. If Ron Paul isn't, I think he's missing a big opportunity.

I'm not sure how they decided which persons were allowed to attend the event. Of course Duncan Hunter is there. He'll continue to beat the war drums with his dying breath. I just wish they would quit talking up a storm and let Petraeus and Crocker just talk. Granted we know what's he's going to say, but according to these people (by ignoring the general and voicing our opinions) that makes us the enemy. We're destroying the integrity of this country apparently. What integrity, what honor do we have left?

So far it does not sound very positive.
