Jesus, Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich have ZERO in common outside the war and The Federal Reserve.

He's a big government statists, and can't fathom the fact that the reason we go to wars and that we have a federal reserve is because of our large federal governement.

I just don't get it ???????

I love it, but c'mon, not Kucinich. They have very little in common. Kucinich is for as much government as he can get.

I loved the idea of the video though. I wish they'd redo it though with someone else, like Clint Eastwood, for example, as the V.P.

The word "statist" is being so overused and misapplied on these boards lately that I'm beginning to question my own political opinions. Kucinich is a left-libertarian. To be a statist, one would have to be either left-authoritarian or right-authoritarian. Desire for free healthcare and anti-discrimination laws doesn't automatically warrant being branded a raging Commie. Kucinich's position on handguns is way off, but other than that one naive and ill-informed position, he's definitely one of the good guys, and a Paul/Kucinich ticket would be political dynamite.

One thing they have in common is that they are both honorable men, seeking to do what they think is right.
They are of a dying breed in DC.
At the end of the day, all I really want is somebody in power that recognizes what the source of that power is.

there is no such thing as 'free healthcare' or 'free education'.
statist is a fair description for him.

Does Kucinich even deny that he's a socialist? I don't think it's meant as a slant against him any more than calling Ron Paul a libertarian is. It's just a fact.

Is there some question as to if he is or not? How is he not a socialist?

Yeah, like blowing the campaign to smithereens.
