I want to get a tattoo and i have a nice picture of an eagle with the American flag, now i want a liberty quote that will knock it out of the park.

Something like:

Live free or die
Liberty or death

Something in Latin would be bada$$, i have been looking for a few hours and i didn't find anything that wowed me, any suggestions?

I just really want something that will connect me to the past and to all of those who fought for liberty. Something i will be proud to have on me for the rest of my life.

"Don't Tread On Me"

I was thinking that but that goes with the Gadsden flag, not the American eagle and flag.

My wife got a celtic circle on her shoulder when she was younger...she hates it now.

She hated wearing anything that ended up showing her shoulder. She ended up going to a cheap tattoo removal where they burn it off of you in little circles, you have to go in several times to get it all removed. Now it looks like she got horribly burned, and she still didn't get the whole thing off so now it's a circle of black spots and discolored skin on her shoulder.

Why not use Ludwig Von Mises' lifetime motto "Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito (Latin: Do not give in to evil but proceed ever more boldly against it)"

Usually, on LvM.org and elsewhere, this is simply written as "Tu ne cede malis."

Edit: "Sic Semper Tyrannis" would be pretty badass too!

who cares, I never got that reasoning. What if you don't live til you are 80, so it wouldn't matter. And who cares about damn tattoos on old people, they were young once.

Its like if you gain age, you MUST turn into an anal retentive "get off my lawn" type of person. There are plenty of older aged tattoo enthusiasts and I think it is great.
