I always thought hair loss might potentially be a hormone issue. It's genetic but you of course progress with it as you get older and your internal chemistry changes. Considering sex hormones are poorer researched in men than even women, who knows. It might be related Steroid and steroid derivatives (DHEAs). Nobody has much of a clue about progesterone utilization in males too from what I can tell that's abit weird as males actually have comparable levels to women at good bit of their cycle, we can't get pregnant either so it must do something. There's also a few hormonal circuits that seem bypassed in men...we seemingly don't even use one of our primary pituitary hormones related to reproduction, to cycle sperm production. O well we can research and find 3 obscure ways to get a hard-on but hair loss, na....

If 161 Iq+lead chemist=wig
Doesn't look like we're gonna be coming up with much here anytime soon. Anybody got a clue exactly how that propecia stuff works? Maybe pot cures it naturally, seems to do everything else... Kinda scared what these mad chemists can cook up, just looking at all the animal tests on cannabinoids.

http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/abstract/276/5321/2048,
if I skimmed correctly they tested a derived delta 9 THC compound and it had similar mesolimbic dopamine activation rivaling Heroin.

That's not the end it either, read a few more tests on cannabinoid compounds and they had one showing it stimulated dopamine release in nucleus accumbens. I always thought the stoners who said pot could cure my ADD were full of it  Certainly seems to do something similar coupled with the fact these compounds tie to your immune and hormonal responses as well.

Taking a good copper suppliment for a couple of months can restore coloring to graying hair. Not sure about hair loss but I would give that a shot anyway.

Semen=nature's greatest conditioner, proteins, sugars, and alittle something extra. Might need to shampoo twice doesn't rinse well.

!?!?!? WTF?!?!!?

This can't be true.... On the other hand... all of the hot chicks have beautiful hair.... hmm.... maybe there is something to this... perhaps that's why MY hair is dry and falling out...hmmm... but I don't think the proposed solution is better than the problem! I'm definitely NOT gonna try it.

The first thing you need to find out is what type of hair loss you have. There are many different types out there with many different causes. You'd need to find out what type you have to then look into what treatments are available.

One-size-fits-all treatments won't work.

I'll use myself as an example. I have alopecia areata. That is where you lose round patches of hair. Here's a bunch of pictures of my hair loss.
http://adrenal-fatigue-nightmare.blogspot.com/2008/10/pictures-of-my-hair-loss.html

Conventional medicine says this is caused by an autoimmune response thus is not curable. The hair may grow back on its own or continue to spread until your entire head is bald. However I found out heavy metal poisoning was causing the "autoimmune response" and since detoxing it has started to grow back.

Now if you are having male pattern baldness or the "normal" hair losses that occur as you age, then those usually have hormonal causes. I'd stay away from all sources of soy.

There are some fungi that cause hair loss. You'd need to treat it with an anti-fungal. However there might be an underlying cause. Why are you getting fungal infections?

Some hair loss may be from a yeast overgrowth in the body. You'd have to get the yeast out of your body by drastically changing your diet and probably doing a good heavy metal detox. Yeast and mercury go hand and hand.

I'd look into what type of hair loss you have, then go from there. It may be worth your time to go to a dermatologist JUST FOR A DIAGNOSIS. Then plug the name of your hair loss into google and begin your research.

A hat?

And to make it all-natural... a wool hat?

Actually there is a treatment for hairloss......

It's called Hair Alternative Treatment... or H.A.T. And you'll notice the effectiveness immediately upon use. Once you begin using H.A.T. people will no longer notice you're going bald!

On a related subject....

If anyone here lets there "freak flag fly" or has a resounding result with hair growth I recommend becoming a Hair Farmer (tm).

Couldn't resist... must stop fingers from typing... oh noes ...did I just hit submit!

:D

Trust me... I've typed (and said) worse things... sometimes they just slip out. (Worst one was when I was repeatedly looking for a coworker at her cubicle -- which she was normally in 99% of the time -- and found myself having said "Did someone throw water on her?" -- I only realized that I must have said it, instead of just thinking it, when the dead silence ensued in the surrounding cubicles... followed by a couple of gasps, and not a few random chuckles!)

See now THAT is just ... well it looks like he's contracted some type of massive puss-filled boils or something. Why on earth would anyone thing that has any value?

That guy would be useless as far as getting any real work done.

(Reminds me of something I noticed in high school: the "sports" guys who "worked out" regularly were actually pretty wimpy -- even the scrawniest of the farm kids could outperform them when it came to doing actual work.)
