This video of a heroic dog stands in stark contrast to the pathetic humans who trampled a fellow human being to death a few days ago to get cheap Walmart crap.

You don't need the commentary.....the video is self-explanatory.

I used to have a dog.

I was driving home one night, dog was in the back seat. I personally have no memory of what happened, but apparently the drunk stoned asshole rushing to get back to a party at his girlfriend's house hit my car from behind, instantly knocking me unconscious.

The asshole who had caused the accident then decided that it was more important to him to flee the scene than to try and help. He abandoned his totalled car at the side of the highway and ran off on foot, leaving me sitting unconscious in my vehicle in the middle of the highway.

Then my car was stuck by two more vehicles. I think the only reason I'm here to write this message now is because my dog, who was about 6 months old at the time, jumped out of the wreckage of my vehicle, and ran down the highway towards the oncoming traffic. My dog was struck and killed by the next driver coming along, but that driver was then able come to a stop before rounding the bend and hitting my vehicle as the others had done.

My dog could have easily gotten out of the road, but he ran straight at the oncoming traffic instead.

If there is a species that deserves to survive, that video has everything you'd ever need to decide. Someone hits the dog, doesnt stop, and EVERYONE else just speeds right on along their merry little ways, they dont even fucking slow down. Breaks my heart for two reasons: #1 the dog risks his own life to try to save a pack mate. #2 Not one human even gave so much as a squirt of piss to slow down, let alone try to help. Now ask yourselves, what have we become as a species?
