I couldn't really see the full placard/seal used on the podium while watching MSNBC live on the internet for the recently announced cabinet appointments -
I at first thought it said 'Office of the President" (maybe as part of the Bush transistion or something ?)
- until they panned away.

Obama is not officially the "President-Elect" yet . . . not until the electoral votes are counted,
and I'm surprised to see him called and use the title in such an official manner, though I understand how in common usage it comes up.

It kinda shows how the media has created a common usage which ultimately decides and controls how nearly everyone thinks.

He's had that since 2 days after he "won" the election. I mean, the day after he "won" they stuck up change.gov. That's when we all discovered the troof. Ruh roh.

Yeah, I wondered if he had been using it before already -
this was the first appointment I have paid attention to.
