Ha Ha, after I heard you say that in Los Angeles, "burn the fern," I was thinking, what the hell did Steven mean. But after seeing various online videos about the Fed, I realized it was a FRN (Federal Reserve Note). :)

I'm hopeful about the goals of the petition and 5000 marchers.

The EPA doesn't even allow the Fed to burn it's old bills due to the materials used like mercury, etc. Instead they shred them and then package the shredded notes for gifts to visitors...

It doesn't matter how "wisely" I spend the money, the fact that I'm spending newly printed money will add to inflation. If the times are even tougher by then I might stock up on food or ammo, but on principle I won't accept the government's charity just to "stimulate" the economy, something we all know won't do a damn thing in the long run.
