I didn't mind. It took cars off the road. Now with $2 gas i see everybody and their pets drive the radio flyer, vehicles with 3 wheels, and lawnmowers onto the freeways.

And grandma's going 90mph and giving me the bird as she passes me!

Just get a turbo diesel when you get an opportunity. We're now getting some better low sulfur mandated diesel gas. VW is releasing some for 2009 and if Ford wants to stop begging they make some excellent ones as well they could put in larger cars. We have great diesel tech here as well with Cummins but we don't get the concept that turbo diesels belong in things other than armored vehicles. Considering we are leaders in turbo-machinery and have nice metallurgy for engine blocks this is pretty sad how fixated we are on getting cars with batteries made in Taiwan.
