The Boston Tea Party 08 is going to be a memorable and educational event.

As of now we have sold less than 30 tickets for this event, which is not even close to covering our costs.

Last year’s Tea Party was FREE because of the generous donations from highly energized Ron Paulers.

This year’s event is counting on the small donations and ticket purchases to fund this event.

With less than 3 weeks until the Boston Tea Party we are greatly concerned that we will not be able to meet our financial obligations.

Walter and the Committees of Safety have taken on all the risk of funding the event and what we need is for everyone that can attend to purchase their tickets TODAY.

If you cannot attend then please pre-order the purchase the high quality DVD for $17.76 that will be produced and shipped out sometime in January.

This donation will also allow you to watch the live web feed for which we are charging just $3.00.

Thank you all and hope to see you in Boston, as we will be “Dumping the Fed by Restoring Sound Money” in the Historic Faneuil Hall also known as the” Cradle of Liberty”

There is still a possibility that Ron Paul will be coming with his son Rand.

We are having a conference call for anyone interested in helping out.

unrelated: i just read the book "Army of the Republic" and i have figured out our problem. We are too small a group of people. our numbers are not enough. we need to mobilize thousands and millions of people if we want to achieve our ideals. the only way i see to do this is to ally ourselves and work with all kinds of other groups, people, and organizations. We need to form broad coalitions of freedom/liberty/patriot/civil rights/constitutional groups. We need more numbers and more allies.

Good point... without money and "Challenging Times" Volunteers should be allocated a discount/no charges or a helping hand meal ticket/transportation.

Not for me to decide, but a suggestion to have financially limited supporters to participate and make it all a success.

I agree with Danke...Rand's speech yesterday was as good if not better than any I've heard from his Dad. He was fluid, knowledgeable. He connected with his audience in a thoughtful, respectful, and intelligent way. He spoke as if we were all his friends.

Vieira was also very fluid, funny, and soaring. Although he spoke quickly, he never lost us. I learned a lot in his speech.

I spoke with Edwin and Rand during the event and was pleased to find that they were just as warm, personable, funny and intelligent in a one-on-one situation.

I strongly encourage people to get a dvd of the event.

Well—don't really have a choice but to purchase the DVD now.

Many who purchased the web-cast never received instructions on where to watch it.

I'm not totally complaining, I know it was for a good cause, and actually ended up purchasing the DVD anyway. But, there wasn't a lot of information. :(

And of course the fact that I haven't seen it yet is killing me. LOL.

:)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boston Tea Party 08 (http://c4liberty.com/?p=42)
Long trains of abuses, the ignoring of our lawful petitions… Tyranny, pure and simple, rearing it’s ugly head. Yet, yesterday, courageous voices of freedom rang out in the Cradle of Liberty. One can hardly imagine the welling of spirit experienced, meeting at Historic Faneuil Hall.
One could almost hear the cheering of the patriots, buried close by, as one speaker after another brought the living to their feet. The fiery passion of Garret Lear (http://minutemenunited.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=708), personable charm of Rand Paul (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnDye3sqB54), and brilliant wit of Dr. Vieira (http://www.edwinvieira.com/) all contributed to a historic day.
We learned more about old threats, like “election fraud (http://thelandesreport.com/VotingSecurity.htm)“, and emerging ones like “spy thechnology” (http://www.spychips.com/). We heard about a grassroots congress from We, The People (http://www.wethepeoplecongress.org/) and the organizing of modern Committees of Safety (http://www.committeesofsafety.org/). JBS came down to talk about their surge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVwxa8hUAH8).
Tom did a great job MC’ing, the timekeeper ran a tight ship, and the generous breaks allowed us all to mingle and buzz. A true citizen’s meeting over civic issues, and a reminder of what is good and right about our constitutional republic.
Afterward, a few of the hardier souls joined us for a march through the market down to the harbor where we had a Boston Paper Party to carry on the traditions of the original r3VOLutionaries, who threw tea in the harbor.
The Boston Banknote Party (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUC8H66Mp3o)
Not a re-enactment, in our own small way, this was the real thing. We threw in a buck, to symbolize our dis-satisfaction and out-right opposition to a fiat currency and the tyranny it allows. Right now, thieves and traitors are robbing our posterity of their future property, and that is a modern day “taxation without representation.” Unelected private bankers are controlling our economy via that hidden “inflation tax” and that is “taxation without representation.” Many of us have had enough and we are joining together. Keep an eye out for The Online Liberty Alliance in a place called Liberty Forest…
We, then, caught up with everyone at The Green Dragon (http://www.somerspubs.com/greendragon_history/) where we all ate, drank, and furthered our plans, in good ol’ Bostonian, r3VOLutionary style.
Hats off to Walter Reddy, Bob Dwyer, Michael Nystrom, and all the organizers/volunteers.
Thanks all http://c4liberty.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
I talked to Edwin Vieira a bit about the company called GoldMoney based on Jersey Island between England and France. He personally can vouch for James Turk (the owner) and feels that it is a very practical way to have (nearly) achieved using a competing currency backed 100% by gold. The GoldMoney account can be linked to any local stateside bank account of your choice and you just use a debit card on this account and transfer over the requisite amount of goldgrams to replenish your local account at your leisure. If you have overdraft protection on the local stateside account you don't even have to be on top of things like a hawk. For instance, let's say you're shopping in the mall one day and you see a pair of sneakers that you would like to buy. If you use your debit card and go over your balance on your local account, it just goes into your line of credit which can cover at a later time from the GoldMoney account. Down the road, the company would like the conversion of goldgrams to the local currency to be automatic whenever you use the debit card.
