I bring this up because Ron Paul has said nice things about Hagel in the past. Someone at another forum that I read said Chuck Hagel endorses Paul. I've looked on the for sources to verify that claim but couldn't find anything. Anyone know if it's true?

I would doubt that. Chuck Hagel is CFR.

And Ron Paul has said that he would support Chuck Hagel if he were running for president.

Isn't that nice?

He also voted for the Iraq War and the Patriot Act, so I can't see why Paul would say that.

Here's a page comparing Chuck Hagel to Ron Paul.
Hell, Hagel voted for the Military Commissions Act!
