Training Session and CFL Organization Meeting!

MARK YOUR CALENDERS!

We want YOU to meet with us on Saturday Jan 31. The Tennessee chapter of Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty will come together for a two-part event in Nashville:

PART I

From 10am - 4pm will be a grassroots and legislative training session instructed by Norm Davis (president / founder of “KY Right to Bear Arms”) and Katie Moyer of the activist group “Take Back Kentucky”.

What kind of things will you learn in the training session?
- judicial conduct review
- tools for grassroots activism
- how to read legislative bills
- how to contact and sway legislators

More information on TBK can be found here - http://www.takebackkentucky.com/ (https://webmail.cumulus.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.takebackkentucky.com/)

PART II

Following the training session the Tennessee Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty will meet officially for the first time to form our new state-wide organization. To learn more about Ron Paul’s new organization please visit and become a member of - http://www.campaignforliberty.com/about.php (https://webmail.cumulus.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.campaignforliberty.com/about.php)

There will be roughly a 30-minute break for lunch and potentially a dinner break. These details will be determined as we get closer to Jan 31.

Ideally we would like to keep the cost at $10 per person for the day. Obviously the more people that attend the lower the cost for everyone. So it’s in your best interest to carpool and bring as many people as possible!

The Take Back Kentucky group will be offering this training session merely for their costs. Unless gas prices spike again they will need roughly $100 for transportation plus the cost of printing materials to handout.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Please RSVP directly to Matt@UltraSonicDesigns.com
Tell me if you are going to make both the legislative training session and the CFL organizational meeting or if you can only attend one or the other.
If anyone has an idea of a room we can use for this event in the Nashville area please let me know. Ideally we would like seating and table space for at least 50 people in a “classroom style configuration”. Pending on the amount of people who attend we might need a bigger space. It could be as high as 100+
A professional projector and screen WILL be needed
High-speed wireless Internet is a must for the training session
In order to keep from alienating groups of people we would like to stay away from bars and churches
If anyone would like to donate the cost of a local hotel meeting space that would be the preferred solution
Pending crowd size we might need a small PA and clip-on + handheld microphones.
More details will be announced as they are finalized

If you are not happy with the way the country is headed and want to get more involved, Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty is poised to become a powerful political force. Show up, get educated, and help build the Campaign for Liberty from the ground up!

I look forward to your affirmative RSVP,
