I'm quite sick of being tied to the FRN system. I live in northern LA -- does anyone here run a business (or know someone) in the area who would be willing to take silver rounds as payment? Food or retail would be great, and I'd become a regular patron of your store/restaurant.
It's not that I'm looking to get rid of silver, it's just that I want to take real, substantial steps towards getting away from FRNs as a means of exchange. I can always buy more silver. I'd be happy to pay in some other trade-able good as well, cans of soup or tuna perhaps, if you're not interested in silver.
The agorism site is great, but there's only one retailer listed in LA, and it's showing up as a website.
Also if you're a potential customer, feel free to list your location here, and what you're looking for. I'm pretty sure this is quite legal, as long as the seller pays sales tax (which is none of my business), so it's not even civil disobedience!
