It was a great day in NYC yesterday. We had up to 200 people gather and march around downtown, raising awareness of the criminality of the international banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve Banking System.

First I want to tip the hat to NYPD who ended up helping us in many ways and enjoyed being a part of the rally. We had no permits and no agenda, just a bunch of patriots gathered together… The cops took in the situation, gathered a small squad, and accompanied us through-out the day. By the end, they were stopping traffic for us, and smiling along with us at our jabs. At the close of the day, in Union Square, you should have seen their faces when the organizers brought up a cheer for the men in blue, to thank them for respecting our First Amendment rights. It was classic. Thanks NYPD.

I arrived carrying two flags, a Stars and Stripes, and a Gadsden. I had dressed up in banker garb and my ma says I looked like an FBI agent.

Reaching the growing crowd I asked which building it was, and after having it pointed out I gave them a one finger salute, then turned to the few cops who were gathering and asked if they knew that the federal reserve was a private banking cartel. They said they were not aware, so I explained a bit about it and finished by saying that inside those walls are the real bank robbers, who should be put in jail…

As the crowd grew, an organizer asked us to split up for a bit. Some to stay at the Fed, others to go on a little march.

We took a little stroll around the downtown area. To the NYSE, to Ground Zero, past Alexander Hamilton’s grave (hehe), and back to the Fed.

By this time our numbers were up and after spending a bit of time it was decided to go on a long march through the city. We went past the NYSE again, then headed to City Hall, at each spot we stopped, had a few speeches, chanted a few jabs at TPTB and moved on.

We got bored with the simple “End The Fed!!!” chant pretty quickly and modified it quite well. Basically it turned into a preface>response type chant. Half the crowd taking on part half the other:

Wake Up!!! > End The Fed!!!
Rise Up!!! > End The Fed!!!
End the War > End The Fed!!!

Other chants included:

Inflation is Theft!!!
No More Bailouts!!!
Etc/etc.

I think the best was a cadence someone started just behind me:

“I dont know what you’ve been told” (crowd repeat…)
“US money ain’t backed by gold” …
“I don’t want my bank to fail” …
“Paulson should be put in jail” …
“Wake Up!” …
“End The Fed!” …

That one had the cops and the crowds cracking up.

Anyway, from City Hall someone thought we should march a couple miles up Broadway to Union Square. By this time I had loaned my Stars and Stripes to another member and both flags were coming loose on the staffs due to the strong wind, so we stopped at a store to get some tape to fix them while the group went ahead. As we played catch up it was fantastic to see the people on the street reading the flyers the group had been passing out. Thousands were given out and people were giving us theumbs up and calling “End The Fed” as we passed by. By the time we caught up we saw that the NYPD was doing us a great service, actually blocking traffic for us so we could stay in a group on our impromptu march up Broadway. It was classic.

By the time we got to Union Square, the crowd had thinned, but we had a few more speeches, thanked the cops, exchanged contact info, then 40+ headed back downtown to a bar for post event refreshments http://c4liberty.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif By this time most of us were ready to rest a bit, after walking about 10miles throughout the day, (and me in business shoes - lol). After a few hours of socializing, we headed back upstate and had quite a few laughs recalling the events of the day. I’ll post more pics as I find them. Thanks all

I had dressed up in banker garb and my ma says I looked like an FBI agent.

Clever. Dress up like one and they will never suspect you, 'cause what Fed would be so dumb when they are out on assignment infiltrating.

"Innocently" involving your mom and brother will no longer work. We're on to ya buddy.

Good stuff!

"The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is very apt to spread discontent among those who are." Henry Louis Mencken

I had a blast at the rally. As the march went on, the crowd got stronger and more vocal. It was a real treat. Especially when on the steps facing the NYSE and screaming WAKE UP! END THE FED!

Something I will never forget...

shemdogg didn't expect the terribly mid-january temps over the weekend we had up here in boston!
anyway, i'm pleased that NYC had a bigger FED rally than us, to mayhap less of a windy breeze!
