This is yet another historical example that proves that 9/11 is not the exception to the rule.

Abe Lincoln is one of the worst presidents in US history. He did more to destroy the Constitution than any other president:

1) He illegally suspended Habeas Corpus

2) He willfully allowed his generals to commit many war crimes against innocent civilians, women, and children.

3) He allowed mass murders of the Indians.

4) He was a racist who believed that blacks were inferior to whites.

5) He orchestrated to start of the Civil War.

6) He arrested newsmen who published editorials that he did not agree with.

7) He promoted corrupting tariff laws and high taxation.

8) He ignored orders from the Supreme Court.

9) He promoted unconstitutional direct taxes and income taxes.

10) He promoted the military draft.

The cult of Lincoln has been crumbling for several years now and I am very proud to be a part of several organizations that have had a strong hand in this. It is high time we start telling the truth.

Lincoln was a HUGE racist. Had he not been assassinated, all people of African descent would have been shipped back to Africa...and yet we herald him as a champion of racial equality?

5) He orchestrated to start of the Civil War.

He did start the Civil War. The broke out a month before he became president. Also, the south fired the first shots starting the war. So get your facts straight. Otherwise, pretty much everything else you said is correct.

Lincoln was a tyrant and very weak man. For instance, where he had the power to end slavery he did not, were he did not have the power to end slavery he did. I always find it funny people see the flag of the Confederacy as a sign of racism and bigotry when the US flag flew over enslaved people for about 80 years before the war.

Deceit and deception is how almost all wars are started.

I ask you this:

Is it not justified for a foreign state to fire upon a foreign military installation within their boundaries, especially when that military installation is attempting to enforce a tax on their citizens?

Also, Abe Lincoln (through his Sec. of State) had promised the South Carolinians (and later Confederate commissioners) that the fort would be vacated and wouldn't be resupplied, especially with war material. The Confederate commissioners in DC later found out that Mr. Lincoln had ordered a resupply, with war material included to be carried out to help Ft. Sumter. That is why the 4 Upper South states joined the so-called "aggressive" CSA after Ft. Sumter.

Also, the South fired the first shots starting the war.

Well he manipulated the South into firing the first shots. They only killed a horse or a mule and then tried very hard to make reparation. Lincoln refused. They sent a peace delegation to see the old bastard (of high ranking Confederate politicians) and he refused to see them.

methinks abe lincoln's stances on slavery ranged between that of thaddeus stevens
and andrew johnson. the events of 1868 stem from the events of 1858 and
1865. if payola and patronage was the unspoken issue that voting rights masks...

it ain't honest abe by his lonesome who set events in motion. the civil war stems
from the way henry clay brilliantly compromises in the time of jamie monroe...
the deaths of calhoun, clay and webster also move us as a nation closer to war...

andrew johnson was a jacksonian democrat with a literalism... remember the famous toast?

fitzJohn porter was courtmarshalled by sec' of war stanton, yet exonerated later. this ties into what
ulric dahlgren was told --- http://www2.h-net.msu.edu/reviews/showrev.php?id=79 and all
this ties into what harney was ordered to do, maybe. the history-net speculation swirled around stanton

Lincoln was a polecat and every southerner has always known it. Why did the south reject the republican party for years? "Lincoln's Party" was a disgust for southerners. When the communists took control of the Democrat party...it pushed the south into the republican party. tones

"Lincoln Unmasked" and "The Real Lincoln" both written by Thomas Dilorenzo,,, I'd also recommend DiLorenzo's "How Capitalism Saved America".
