P { MARGIN-TOP:0px;MARGIN-BOTTOM:0px;} He campaigned on the idea of a modern-day American Revolution and large crowds turned out in almost cultish fashion. His outspoken adherence to libertarian values has made him a respected ideological leader. But in the end, Congressman Ron Paul didn’t have a chance of winning the Republican nomination. On Thursday’s “Riz Khan” we speak with Ron Paul about which way America is headed and whether or not the voters wanted President-Elect Obama’s brand of change or just plain change.

As always, send your questions! Do the appointments President-Elect Obama is making equal change – or a return to the times of the Clinton Administration? What about Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State? She is more hawkish on foreign policy than Obama. Is that what Americans voted for? Congressman Ron Paul is a devout supporter of free-markets and believes regulation got the economy into this mess. Is he right or is a lack of regulation the problem. Paul says that the only way out of this economy is to suffer through and let the markets adjust. What is the role of government in the economy? Paul has also been a strong advocate of civil liberties – so what should America do about the numerous Executive Orders and legislation that passed blurring the lines of Constitutional rights?
