That would be awesome. But who knows what the hell the country will be like in 2012 if the currency is wiped out.

The author is just a dick. Sorry, but if he spent about 20 minutes doing some research he'd find that Ron Paul got less than 1% of the political coverage until after Super Tuesday. It's well documented. What's not clear though (and what we'll never know) is how hard Ron Paul and his campaign staff were trying to get him on the news.

If Ron Paul runs in 2012 (and I don't think he will..) he needs to have at least one friend saying the same things in the debates.. if Johnson and Sanford were both in the running it would be interesting to see the media ignore all three. He would also need a totally different campaign staff.
