For the message. Of course he won't run... but if he consistently gets first on these polls, it'll stir more interest and more hope.

Think, what's better for our cause? People seeing Ron Paul top of the list on every poll, or people seeing Ron Paul down in the bottom or not there at all?

It's about showing that our movement is powerful.

I agree though that Congress is much more important than Presidency at this point. And we need to work locally, because until things are changed locally, they won't reflect nationally.

That's why we need to set a strong example through polls like this. It gives us credibility and power.

hey, Ron Paul was in SC before the primary for at least 3 appearances in a week.
but.....
I saw him twice on the same day (on a work day). The first was in a bar/restaurant in Rock Hill where he was in front of a big screen TV that was turned on (distracting). The second was about an hour later about 10 miles down the road. He was in another restaurant and was in the corner with no lights on him (kind of standing in the shadows). Neither place was really "packed", and I had heard about both appearances here on RPF even though I'd donated and live not far from there (so I should have gotten an e-mail or call).

I walked away thinking "geez.. if that's how the campaign was run in Iowa and NH then no wonder he didn't do well there"....

C'mon guys... 179 views on this post already, if everyone who viewed this voted we'd already have Ron Paul in second, approaching Palin.

lol, yeah you'd be surprised how many unhealthy doctors I've seen. :D

I talked to an old friend once who was in his mid 90s and still enjoyed excellent health. He outlived his first wife, but lived with a younger woman (in her 80s) and still did "normal people" things like grocery shopping, choir practice and other social functions.

Once I asked him what his secret was. His answer was to stay physical and keep your mind sharp. He shot 100 baskets a day, walked a mile per day and tended his garden. He also never drank or smoked.

From what I know of Ron it looks like he's on the right track. An old Ron Paul could still take a sharp Palin any day of the week.

But the GOP doesn't really need a leader. All they need to do is pull that pamphlet out of their pocket, called the Constitution.

He never got up to enough time in any of the states. It might have seemed like a lot for the average campaign, but in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, people like to see their candidates early (like starting in a couple months from now) and often. Ron Paul didn't start until late the previous January, and he never got up to John McCain's 100 town halls in New Hampshire. He needs to do at least that in the year leading up to the election, with 60 days in Iowa, and another 60 split up between South Carolina and the other early states.

While that's all good, I think Ron Paul through the Campaign for Liberty has been stressing that things have to change locally before they change nationally. A presidential race won't work until we have some weight to throw around behind it. Right now we should be focused on the much easier to win Congress in 2010.

We need to keep the Doc's name and message in front of the MSM EACH AND EVERY DAY UNTIL November 2012.

Remember its not the man...its his MESSAGE.

182... we have to pick up the pace.

C'mon guys, what are you waiting for? This thread has almost 3,000 views, if even half those people had voted we'd be doubling Palin's score.

And you don't even have to use your own email address, just use 10 minute mail.

Jeeze, take two minutes to boost Ron Paul's recognition and credibility.

VOTE!

UPDATE: Ron Paul now in 2nd place! Keep it coming!

Takes two seconds to register. We can easily win this and show that Ron Paul isn't old news.

This thread has a 1,000 views... c'mon guys, if everyone who viewed this thread voted we'd already be in 1st by a LONGSHOT!

If you're hesitant about registering, just use 10 Minute Mail. That gives you an e-mail address for ten minutes while you answer the poll.

Hmm...that poll would suggest a nearly certain 20-25% grab for a Ron Paul Republican in the primaries if they could communicate their message to them, and more I'd bet once the campaign gained steam. I get that from the 27% of conservatives unsatisfied with Palin. If you aren't satisfied with Palin, you are a traditional conservative and know what that means.

156 votes or 4% behind Palin.

By the way, if you change the end of the URL (if you already voted) to make it say any message you want:
http://forums.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=231&message=RON%20PAUL%20REVOLUTION!

After "message=", just type something. It appears toward the top of the page in red letters. :D

That's called Cross Site Scripting. That site is filled with vulnerablities. I'm not advocating it, but it wouldn't be hard to change the results of that poll.

Well you are worthy of true internet God status then . . .

But recall this thread started on the 10 minute temporary email account . . .
- which some may have participated in I guess -
I forgot which email account I used originally when RP was in third place and
so may my double vote condemn all the rest of us to the 9th circle of internet Hades.
