"MSNBC anchor David Shuster thought he had nailed one of the culprits leaking derogatory information
about Sarah Palin to Fox News -- including such allegations as the Alaska governor's confusion over African geography."

But now the New York Times reports that two filmmakers created the fictional McCain advisor Martin Eisenstadt
to help them pitch a TV show based on the character.

Sorry - I didn't realize it came up with a subscriber thing until I logged in off a non-university computer - thought it would jus' pop up for ya' without subscriber stuff.

There are some other sources out and around of this fake McCain advisor now.

I think it is funny how the news media - especially Shuster after some of his
misrepresentations of Ron Paul during the campaign - gets it wrong here.

In fairness, it seems they tricked everyone though -
but it may be easier than we sometimes think.
