why hasn't the Daily Paul site been updated since the "Open Thread" was posted? (Which by the way, is well worth the read, lots of good ideas)

A lot of the "regulars" who used to post there have given it up for good, feeling that Daily Paul has dropped off the deep, deep end.

Nystrom is falling all over into all sorts of weird stuff, Zeitgeist, wacko zero-point energy, etc.

Now I know RP supporters tend to be a *ahem* unique cross-section, and DP has always had that odd unorganized forum format that buries stuff pretty quickly -- but in the past few months DP has just been getting into pushing some really strange "socialist" advocacy stuff, and most of that has it's roots with MN -- in contrast there has been a dearth of anything of value there.

It's kind of becoming some strange alter-ego to DailyKos.

IMO, Stick a fork in it... it's done.

All I can say is "What?"
Daily Paul was my first RP forum... Then I moved here because of the better structure.

Now it's advocating socialism and crap? What?

Start an Hourly Paul site? ;)

Or better yet, a "Ron Paul Minute man site." :)

I mean really, you are worried because there is no new article there? Nystrom has earned a break. It's a great site!
ps: just went there, plenty of new stuff!
