I was a Georgist for a very short time. I've since moved on to Voluntaryism though, because I believe granting all ownership of land to the state to dole out just invites moral hazard, cronyism, and poor stewardship. I don't think one can legitimately acquire land through force anyway, so if one wanted to engage in a Georgist experiment on land one didn't already own, one would have to either have the resources to buy that land, or just take over everybody's homes by force.

But I do think it would be cool to see Georgism tried in a voluntary, communal way, provided one had the choice to emigrate from the Georgist society at any time.
