Obama asked her if she would be willing to accept if he offered.

Wolf Blitzer can barely contain himself.

I saw that, too.

How is this "change we can believe in" or a "new politics"? Seems like the same old politics to me. He is offering her a high ranking position, right after he said she couldn't change the system because she was part of the problem. Same with Biden, tough. He's stacking his court with the same old players.

Reuse, recycle, redistribute. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Let's see, he's making a habit of appointing former rivals. He won the nomination because he ran under 'change.' His opponents were seen as establishment candidates, yet he appoints them all. Of course, Kucinich and Gravel weren't establishment candidates, so will they get cushy positions? Doubt it.

Goes to show you there was not much difference between these two candidates.

i was more inclined when i compare people now to people of the civil war era,
i was thinking more on the lines of barack obama as our post-reconstruction answer
to booker t washington, as i wince and think senator byrd to be the last true populistic
jacksonian democrat living, well long we are after huey long's demagogic reign of wit
and inebriated hardscrabble populism! our politics is now inside a new era...
