Good one! Would be funnier if it weren't true.

I've become a huge fan of Alex Jones, who I found through this forum.

The thing that bugs me about Alex Jones' show is the quack-pot advertisements he has. The gasoline supplement? I just feel like some of his ads are predatory and prey upon people who've become overly paranoid and victimized.

Alex himself, however, seems to speak with reason. Would be better if he had a real science background, though.

So, if you wanted to 'legally' protest free-speech zones, you would have to get a permit to use your free-speech in the free-speech zone to protest it?

I don't care who says my free-speech is limited to certain areas. As long as I am not infringing on anyone's rights, too bad.

Shows how bad it's gotten when we need a PERMIT to exercise our Constitutional rights to assemble and speak. Bizzaro world.

I hate those ads too, but most of them have nothing to do with Alex. They are GCN network ads. Alex does have a few sponsors, for things like water filters, but those kooked out ads you're referring to are not in connection with him.

Damn those ads are annoying though....

alex needs to move to a solid internet based advert structure... google needs to catch up with this. google adsense needs to provide audio ads for commercial breaks...

that way alex could afford to invest in the absolute best low bit-rate streaming technology and hook some video up for the broadband customers...

he's already ten steps ahead, that'd make him twenty.

Anyone here ever heard of William Cooper? Former Navy Intelligence Officer, predicted a terrorist attack would be blamed on Osama Bin Laden 06/01 on his radio show, and was killed 11/01 by federal goons.

You can see a documentary on him here: (note, don't be turned off by his UFO talk in the beginning as later in the documentary he denounces he previous beliefs on the matter)

You can hear archives of his short-wave radio broadcasts via podcasts here:

Its not so much that I dont believe there is some good scientific evidence to back up some of the truther stuff, like the thermite, the comparison to the Madrid tower burning and not falling, building 7, and all the other things. My main problem is that I think its a waste of time going backwards. I like to concentrate on going forward and getting the bastards out of government who facilitate the possibility of these kinds of things, because theres no way, even if 100 percent of america believed our government was involved, that those guilty would be brought to justice. The reason is that just about all government, even if they arent directly involved, will never bring charges against anyone even with all the circumstantial evidence in the world in their hands. It would take nothing less than actual video footage of bush saying "yes, I was involved in 911" for something to even start to be done about it, and obviously theres none of that. I dont believe the official JFK story either, but going back and finding out who did it wont change anything since its been done already. What we need are 500 Ron Pauls in politics so stuff like this wont happen. Thats what we need to concentrate on.
