I am tired of people blaming the liberal media. I am entirely fed up with Republicans putting their failures on the supposed liberal bias and slant of television. It bothers me because it’s factually inaccurate, but also because it’s lazy.

It’s easy for conservatives to blame the media when they lose. That way, they don’t have to study their own behavior and platform for flaws when they lose. Like French soccer players blaming a nonexistent foul for their missed goal, the right has become insufferably fond of casting all responsibility off of their own shoulders.

Enter Shepard Smith. Here in this video, he essentially slaps one more lazy Republican across the face for talking about the “liberal media.”

The major media is in trouble in this nation. While such industry used to make a living by its creativeness and inventiveness, now it has consolidated into major corporations to do battle with the internet. Major corporations depend on lobbying for their survival. Because of this conflict of interests, this, in turn, has caused media editors to outright edit for political content rather than edit content simply for mistakes in grammar and other mechanics.
