Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

And look at this (if you haven't read the article):

Until Tuesday, all eyes had been fixed on the Irving seat held by Republican Rep. Linda Harper-Brown. But after the count of overseas and provisional ballots was completed late Monday, the incumbent held a 20-vote lead over her Democratic challenger.

20 votes!? "Nah, my vote's not gonna change anything." :D

I would generally choose a Republican over a Democrat at the state level.

Look out for the DCCC...

They are targeting states for Democratic Conquest... New Mexico, Nevada, & Colorado are the current targets and Texas is next.

We here in Nevada are having a difficult time with the Socialists invasion from California and the DCCC carpetbaggers. This compounding with the Disarray of the failed GOP Republicans philosophies are chippin away.

I think the Republicans have done a great job fiscally in Texas. They are to the point where they're trying to figure out what to do with a $10 billion budget surplus.

And I don't know if it's just San Antonio or all of Texas but I have never seen road construction go so quickly with so much done in a small amount of time.

When I lived in Augusta Georgia they had the main highway down to one lane for months...I figured it had to be a huge renovation, maybe widening the roadway...something big. They pull the cones down afterwards and all they did was re-pave it.

In San Antonio I was getting lost 5 miles from my house because it was almost as if I got a new exit available to me on a monthly basis. With curving overhead roadways linking highways going up in less than half a year.

Republican states like Texas, Alaska etc. are generally pretty good. Low taxes and fiscal sanity

As soon as they move up to DC they get corrupted

Yeah, when I was writing the title, I was wondering whether to put it as one word or two.

But I'm sure Republicans will always have the majority when it comes to steakhouses. :D

Impeach Rick Perry though.

Definitely impeach Perry! Kay Bailey Hutchison is out after this term, too, so that's good, but Texas will never go Socialist. No way. We really just need to secede. Who's with me?

We need to make sure KBH doesn't sneak into the Govenors Mansion.

Monetarily, if that's a word. ;)

And even if it isn't. :D
