Look at the thing at the top and all of the comments... I don't think it could rise that fast.

They better not blame us

Those were neocons out to prove that our stuff was spam, which of course, it wasn't.

I know how the reactions will be, and frankly I'm not gonna care. I'm about ready to say FUCK the GOP. Getting really impatient with the sheeple.

See, that's what I'm saying. I'm thinking some popular Democrat blog posted about the site and all of their little followers went to go have some fun. Sounds like the typical thing a Democrat would do. lol ._.

The joke's on them, it wasn't even a site that a Ron Paul supporter setup. It was meant for the neo-cons and after the Ron Paul supporters were done that is when the SPAM brigade came days later.

I think the wonkette's would appreciate some more email offers about discounts on purchases of online pharmaceutical products, what do you guys say?

Especially good old KEN [at] wonkette.com

That is also true, I was a bit irritated myself initially.

At this point I am wondering why the site admins allow it to continue.

Probably because they aren't very good admins :o

It's definitely Wonkette behind most of it.

It is rather surprising that the admins have done nothing, though. I even emailed the contact thing to give them another heads up, but surely they have checked their own site within the past 6+ hours.

Fark (http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=4010970) also had a thread pushing up the Truck Nutz.

And endlessly ridiculing Ron Paul and his supporters.

I'm just sick of all the name calling and assumptions. I used to be able to have decent political theory conversations on Fark, now you just get yelled down and made fun of, without any discussion of policy but instead making fun of how people would post simply "Ron Paul!", similar to what "Gobama" turned into, or post that sad photo of Paul in a folding chair waiting for a TV appearance (by himself), and using that to imply that he's just a sad, lonely, old man. And further, that somehow you constantly need thousands of supporters surrounding you for your ideas and arguments to be valid.

The collectivists have us seriously out-numbered, out-funded, and out-popularized, even on the internet - where our support is strongest, proportionately. We have a long road ahead.

I wouldn't attribute these folks as collectivists. They are bored youth with ADD and weak senses of humor. I would have to be riproaring drunk to find any of their "humor" funny.

Just mark it spam when you see it...I don't know how they do their administration but it should be removed shortly with our numbers flagging it...the website may not be perfect but does have some checks and balances.

I don't even see anymore nonsense on the front page now and flagged the ones in the new tab. So if you're interested do the same.

I've had recent encounters with some people who (still) want to dis Ron Paul and my efforts on the campaign...

But, I have found the *perfect* way to shut them up and utterly deflate/devastate them, I simply say (with as sunny and happy of a disposition as I can achieve):

"Well, you know because of Ron Paul and everything I learned, *I* got ALL of my money out of the stock market last winter, at the top of the market -- you know my 401K and everything -- even MADE some money by shorting stocks... How's YOUR 401K doing these days?"

That tend to shut them up real quick... and they walk away muttering to themselves.

So I don't know if anyone cares... but the Wonkette creeps are at it again. I think they are genuinely threatened by our libertarian ideas. They seem to have at least a superficial knowledge of them and even apparently lurk this forum (http://wonkette.com/404325/american-people-give-republican-party-major-responsibility-big-ale-on-truck-nutz#comment-174470). I think they're terrified of us giving the GOP a backbone. Why else would they try to imitate us and make the Admins over there believe that it's Ron Paul supporters spamming them (see #13 @ http://ideas.rebuildtheparty.com)? I think they want to ensure that we have no voice and get us kicked off.

Regardless of how they feel about our ideas isn't it pretty pathetic to go out of their way to spam against them. If we're considered kooky for promoting them...then what does that make those guys? I suggest if you are interested at all about rebuildtheparty.com help me mark the spam.

LMAO he mentioned about the wonktard traps and he fell for one. What idiots! "Republican for a Reason" glorified Bush in the intro of their site, why would anyone here believe that the site would listen to us but apparently the wonktards were gullible enough.

I can honestly say the same thing!

I put my and my wife's retirement accounts into the low-interest 'safe' plan just after new-years - at the first drop off of the market.

It's not a ton of money, but at least it hasn't lost a large percentage.

How delicious. The RedState neocons jumped the shark and joined forces with Wonkette against the "Paultards," and now they've spammed their site with a bunch of lame snark.

Question: I don't go to Wonkette, but did David Weigel write that entry, by chance? (Reason really needs to fire his lame, kool-aid guzzling, Democrat-loving butt.)

The trend I am seeing is a strong move by the left to move the party to the left. The left knows that the general trend in politics is for the American people to change from party to party. They know there is a really really big chance that the American people will elect a huge wave of republicans in 2010. What better way to get their way than to ratchet both parties more left.

Actually I kind of enjoy watching them waste all their time making idiots out of themselves on the Internet.

Rebuild the Party didn't verify e-mail addresses, which allowed them to attack at will. I'm thinking Wonkette isn't vulnerable like that. However, revenge has certainly crossed my mind. I would like those asshats to have a taste.
