Uh, no. Why change the name when the term Driver's License has worked so well for so long?

Did you read the article? It includes a fingerprint, face scan, retinal scan, all embedded on a chip, hence BIOMETRICS. Taking a picture with a normal camera does not achieve all of this. My Iowa Driver's License does not fit that criteria.
