On 11/2 I wrote (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?p=1799086#post1799086) this in regards to Time magazine's "Person of the Year" (bold added):

I've got my money on Time selecting Obama. Brzezinski and Albright are his foreign policy advisors. Jimmy Carter and Ex-Fed Chairman Paul Volker both endorsed him. Four of the most prominent Trilaterals.

Well, today CounterPunch is reporting (http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/Find-Freedom.htm?At=040936):

Treasury Secretary

For arguably the most important position Obama will be appointing, the President-Elect may pick well-regarded economist Paul Volcker, former chairman of the Federal Reserve under Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Volker is one of Obama’s closest economic advisors and is thought to be the top-choice for the position of Treasury Secretary.

This was so predictable that it would be funny if it wasn't so horrible. Please read this article (http://www.augustreview.com/issues/globalization/the_trilateral_commission:_usurping_sovereignty_20 07080373/) to better understand who holds Obama's marionette strings and why this is such unsurprising news.

EDIT: CounterPunch also reports that, "While Obama’s choice for [Defense Secretary] is speculative, quite a few fingers are pointing to Richard Holbrooke."

Holbrooke is another prominent Trilateral, Bilderberg Attendee, AND a member of the CFR's Board of Directors. Trifecta.

(FYI, the Trilateral Commision controls the CFR, not the other way around. The CFR's membership is roughly ten times greater than the Trilateral Commission, yet almost half of its Board of Directors is comprised of Trilateral Commission members.)

Eh, Volcker at least knows how to handle fiat currency. I expect inflation to decline with him in office.

The bailout bill will ensure inflation is here to stay.

ehh....he knows how to handle it, but doesn't want to handle it that way.

remember, he said if he could "do it over again" he would have suppressed the price of gold instead of fighting inflation.

See the OP. They know what they're doing, they just don't work for us.
