Go tell them what you think...

And note what the TOP idea already is:

Reach out to Ron Paul and the Campaign for Freedom
The younger generation is overwhelmingly turning away from the social conservative platform perpetuated by what they see as "old, grumpy, white guys"

Instead they are turning by the thousands to people such as Ron Paul and his Campaign for Freedom to give them fresh perspective and a new outlook on the way a government should be run.

Ron Paul already has mobilized the younger generation through the use of the internet (just check out facebook and see who the most supported candidate was through the primaries)...

If the RNC ignores this youthful, strong, and passionate subset of the population, the party will increasingly become less relevant as these young people grow up.

Let's pwn this.

I heard them talking on the radio coming home that they wanted technology and social networking to be a PRIORITY. The youth vote. A candidate who Twitters, as McCain did NOT. etc.

This is so ours.

My favorite is a comment left by someone (in response to a previous one that said they should "mimic the tactics" of the RP movement -- in other words create "astroturf" versions of our real grassroots stuff {some people never learn}) Anyway, the response was excellent:

Xenophage (http://ideas.rebuildtheparty.com/users/117055)
You can't mimic the tactics of the Ron Paul phenomena, because there were none. It was a spontaneous, enthusiastic interest in a truly conservative political ideology. Real conservatism in the tradition of Berry Goldwater, who was also against the drug war and against wars of aggression. If the RP [Republican Party] isn't going to be conservative, it isn't going to be anything.

Oh that is perfect.

All they really want is the secret method Dr. Paul used to get all those donations. :D:D:D

I pawned them with:

Today I have:
Read:
How Ron Paul Changed Conservatism
http://www.extremepolitics.org/2008/01/06/how-ron-paul-changed-conservatism/

Ronald Reagan: An Autopsy
http://www.lewrockwell.com/rothbard/rothbard60.html

Reagan - Goldwater Speech Time for Choosing
http://www.americanrhetoric.com/spee...orchoosing.htm

Listened to: (again and again)
The Goldwater Speech- Time for Choosing
Ronald Reagan Speech - 1964 Republican National Convention
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt1fY...eature=related

The speech represents the best of Reagan though he sadly surrounded himself with the wrong people once in the White House and failed to realize the high ideals of the great speech. He may have been a bit conservative and a bit libertarian, but he governed badly as a neocon.

Am now reading:
Beyond Conservatism: Reclaiming the Radical Roots of Libertarianism
http://attackthesystem.com/beyond-co...ibertarianism/

How and Why the Federal Government
Legislates Outside the Constitutional Limitations.
http://www.civil-liberties.com/pages/howcome.html

Go to and read articles here:
http://mises.org/

The Republican party today is a relic of feudalism. The fatal flaws in the Constitution that has allowed our Republic to degenerate into what it has become today.

The Ron Paul Library
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/

:D:D Bet they won't read even one article or even listen to the Reagan speech. :)

First of all, the GOP needs to shed it's NeoCon idealism, it's pro-war stances, and its deadwood.

Then it needs to grow backbone and balls.

Then it needs integrity, and must be willing stand by it's ideals.

Then it needs to tell the liberals to get bent.

COINTELPROAgent is herkimer - onetimer.. he or they are on a mission. But why?

I've voted on some things and made some comments, but I honestly don't think this is going anywhere. The only hope is maybe, just maybe some journalist will stumble upon it and make a big deal about it. But when that happens expect 200 bajillion idiots to run in there chanting "USA, USA, USA".

I honestly think the GOP is dead. They simply won't quit sucking the teat of the lobbyists and won't listen to anyone but the neoconservatives. Right now in NC the Republican party is on track to be the third party (behind "unaffiliated") by the 2009 election. They lost on a massive scale here in NC and yet their support of McCain and the neoconservative agenda is unwavering. My decision now is whether to change my voter registration to unaffiliated or Libertarian.

There are a lot of RedState neocons on that coalition list.

Call me a cynic, but I very much doubt they want any RPRs to be a part of their little rebuilding efforts.

I tried talking to COINT one on one in his "Ron Paul is a racist" thread. But the cowardly liberal has yet to reply.

Of course not, but we still must work inside the GOP as well as outside as Ron has directed.

Start acting like Republicans again

Go back to what we used to believe in

1. OBEY THE CONSTITUTION
2. lower taxes
3. stop all the spending overseas
4. protect our borders
5. Shrink the size and scope of government
6. Abolish the Patriot Act
7. Abolish the Federal Reserve....get back to sound money and the FREE market
8. Stop supporting bailouts and rewarding corrupt and incompetent CEOs
9. Kick out the ex-Democrats (Neo-cons)
10. Stop supporting the welfare state

There are so many others. So many of our leaders in this party talk like conservatives, but don't vote like them. Ron Paul has consistently talked AND VOTED like a conservative. He is the Republican party right now, and is gaining a lot of support each and every day. The Republican party made a big mistake by not listening to him and we payed for it in the 2006 and 2008 elections. Maybe it's time to start listening to the guy that is always right, and truly represents the Republican party.

Yeah, but if they try to "fake" it -- well, the joke will be on them, as they will have a massive FAIL.

I see a mix of people posting comments there:

1) Some of them are obvious Ron Paul'ers.

2) Some of them are NOT Ron Paul'ers but they *DO* get it (day late & dollar short, but still).

3) Some of them are just ignorant/arrogant (Country-Club Repthuglican types) and think it's a matter of "tactics * tools" instead of strategy and SUBSTANCE.

4) A very small number of them are probably DailyKOS types just being trolls.

Sure, and the Ford & Bush types back in 1976 and 1980 REALLY DID NOT WANT the Reagan gang around either.

I say TOUGH SH*T... We tell it like it is -- if they want to reject the TRUTH, so be it -- but the consequence is that they will remain an absolute minority party for decades.

The can't just put more lipstick on the pig. That will FAIL just like it did this past election.

Something stuck with me very powerfully from Ron Paul's speech at the Rally for the Republic. He said a true revolution would be felt in all political parties--Democratic, Republican, and others. Given the hefty blow the GOP received last week, it's worthwhile to focus some major efforts on taking over segments of them. However, we shouldn't focus exclusively on the GOP. Ron Paul supporters should fight for liberty and spread our ideas in any party we come into contact with.

I'm with you. Sure I'll give my ideas when they give me the keys to the car. Until that happens it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, looks like a duck, and guess what ...

Until I see people dragged away in handcuffs and fired and this GOP overhauled it's nothing but talk. I'll get "excited" if you can call it that when I see them pull some action outta thier ass.

Dump Stevens...
Dump McCain...
Dump Gulliani...
Dump Huckabee...
Dump Romney...

and many many more I can't think of right now.

wait,.. Craig from Idaho...

Seriously, they need to be frightened to the point of near extinction before they "excite me". Sorry, they need to think on thier own for once I'm not thinking for them.
