What are you most proud of that you have posted here? Are there any contributions that stand out? Was it an idea? Was it passing out information? Was it working on a project to get something done?

This isn't a test or anything- I'm just doing some deep thinking about the future of the forum--- but bonus points for providing links. :D

I'll add mine later... :)

I was the first major Gary Johnson supporter here, which means if he actually runs I'm a pretty big deal! :D OK, who wants my autograph? lol

I also got RPF more supportive of BJ Lawson. =)

So I guess it's my general posting, not one post... I mean I'm not the guy who came up with the moneybomb, lol

Oh, and: :bunchies:

My thread about the Alaskan Republican Convention was cool, because everyone started posting links to it all over the net... it showed up in a lot of meetup mailing lists, and someone even reposted it to dailypaul as though they were ME! I decided to pull the post because I didn't want to tip our hand in case anyone from the republican party of alaska was reading, which pissed off lots of people who still wanted to read it.

That was classic, I remember it well. IIRC, I put it on the top of the forum and it soon ended up on Lew Rockwells blog too. That thread will have to come back out soon! :)

My whole "News From Iowa" thread from 2007. It was fun keeping everyone posted on what was happening on the ground in Iowa in the run-up to the Iowa Caucuses. I eventually got neck-deep in the campaign and couldn't maintain it as well but others pickup up the slack.

BTW, can we move that thread back to Grassroots Central so I can keep it alive? Our movement isn't just about the white house but pols are already hitting the ground here in Iowa preparing for 2012!

Probably not.

What great day huh?

There may be ones in the future, perhaps very shortly, very exciting possibly, but I think the "fun" will not be there.

Fatalistic optimism will be the keywords, or, put it another way, "a helluva day to die".

Several ones that I thought provided needed information, but I think the BEST thread I started (if not fully appreciated) is this one

Where $17M went in the 4th Qtr (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=108230)

The subsequent posts on the RPPCC FTC reports were important too, but the original (above) posted on Feb 1, was the most important, because it showed that the campaign did NOT have $20 Million left, and that the big "expectations" for Super Tuesday TV ads were not possible. (And it also was the first evidence of how poorly the campaign was actually run).

Other one's I am pretty proud of:

Think LONG TERM - Why 3rd party is bad & staying GOP is good! (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=111288)

And of course all of the "Man Of Common Sense" flyer threads...

Ron Paul "Man of Common Sense" Themed flyers/ads (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=90102)

But a big portion of my longer posts were in reply to other people's questions or concerns.

This is a classic thread on methodology and anatomy of a troll kill, making them totally ineffective and scuttling their dualistic and corrupted momentum.

Funny thing is, I've always considered myself better at math (majoring in statistics) :D When I care about something enough, I can put some things together.

Now we have to figure out how to translate emotional rhetoric like that into converting people, rather than energizing our base (although that's also important). I haven't quite figured that out yet, mainly because people are so misguided about freedom and politics today.
