The two systems are very similar in the sense that the state exerts immense power of the citizenry.
Whilst the goals may appear superficially different the end result is the same, TYRANNY.

See the link for even more details and how it applies to america.
Btw I am not promoting the site's products, I just used it strictly for the info relating to communism and fascism.

Hitler, Lenin and Stalin are all clinically insane individuals.

This isn't an insult, it's a statement of fact.

The technical term for these people is psychopath, look it up, if you are not sure.

If you naively believe that all psychopaths are drooling, crazed and violent, think again.

The most successful psychopaths never need to lay a finger on anyone because they are most
successful manipulators of other people in mankind.

The natural question at this point becomes, how can we tell who is a psychopath, if they are such
good manipulators?

The answers is simple, believe it or not.

Do not listen to what they say, simply analyse the actions of those people who act under their orders.

you could probably add to fascism that it is typically founded on the vast fortunes of royalty and though a central ruler will often be the figurehead, the overall system (due to the vast web of royal relations behind it) is assured survival throughout assassinations, wars, and other sorts of political upheavel because ultimately the power source does not originate from the people, bt wealth instead. Fascism is essentially a political system founded on, driven toward and maintained by wealth alone.

wealth is the lifeblood of revolution.

I think that the USA currently has many of the attributes of both communism and fascism.

Our gov't is involved with the attributes of all the things listed under both lists. And a police state is a part of BOTH fascism and communism. The goal of TPTB is to change to mostly being communist, with some remaining fascism (such as corps and gov't combined). The ultimate goal of globalization, aka one world gov't.

We have fascist private property controls, and the gov't/UN owns most of the US land now. Eminent domain is used in order to try and progress more toward communism, to try and end such thing as private property. They are using environmental propaganda to try to get this to happen, too. They are trying to get as many people as possible into city/large town areas. 'Sustainable development' and 'sustainable communities' is communist BS.

These things will all be naturally the parts of fascism left over if they get their way:

* Powerful executive control in government
* Lower human rights outlook
* Corporations wield great power
* Mass media controlled by State and Corporations
* Rampant corruption
* Unlimited power held by police force
