I'm not so sure Palin couldn't be brought around to be a Paul supporter. I could imagine worse things than having as vp with RP in 2012. In fairness though, there are gals in here more qualified to me.

We need to be realistic here. Anyone who advocates abolishing the Federal Reserve, i.e. the US Central Bank, will not be a leader in the GOP anytime soon.

The battle of liberty versus the central bank is centuries old, and unfortunately the central bankers are winning soundly at this point. They have both parties in their back pocket. Look at the number of companies in the financial industries who funded BOTH Obama and McCain:

Obama:

McCain:
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contrib.php?cid=N00006424&cycle=2008
Others:

It's going to take a massive grassroots campaign to educate people about the nature of the US Central Bank before the political parties can be reclaimed. This is exactly what the RP2008 campaign was about, and it succeeded beautifully.

Now that we have a significant base the true work begins. Promoting organizations such as C4L nationally and mobilizing locally is critical.

We will lose this battle permanently if we don't start to understand the problem and act accordingly. Thinking that RP will emerge to any prominent leadership role in the GOP any time soon is foolhardy.

Quotes of the day:

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . - Thomas Jefferson

"From now on, depressions will be scientifically created." -- Congressman Charles A.
Lindbergh Sr. , 1913, Regarding the passage of the Federal Reserve Act
