He will become a vocal speaker against Obama and everyone will see his consistent voting record.

I don't know. I mean, he is healthy, but 77 is quite an old age, especially if you're running for the office of President. What I think we should do is get the Republican party to embrace the ideas of Austrian economics and show them that Keynesian economics (which the democrats happily use) is screwing our country.

Ron Paul is one man. He himself cannot carry the weight of the world on his own. We must seek other Ron Paul supporters and liberty loving Republicans to restore the GOP.

He'd be 76.
Mike Gravel ran at 76 this year.
I don't think anyone considered his age much of a factor.
Plus he looks younger than he is...

He doesn't want to run. A more likely scenario is Gary Johnson running with a Ron Paul endorsement.

McCain lost because of age partly.

McCain is only 1 year younger than Ron Paul, right?

I don't think he'll want to run. I wouldn't. Let the man retire in peace!

He won't run.

The best you can hope for is that Ron Paul is still alive to become Speaker of the House one day. I guess he is 3rd from the top so it might be possible.

But Ventura said if we show him the country is worth it, he'll come rescue us and run for POTUS. If we fight hard enough while he "watches" our progress, we can do this!

I predict a Huckabee run/win in 2012. If the US/world still exists by then.

With his lifestyle, he is probably healthier than a good many of us. I think he can carry a lot of weight on his shoulders, I mean, look at this passed year. And even then, I know that we will always be willing to help with the load one way or the other.

Whether he runs or not, he'll be a good adviser for the freedom movement. Hope he'll maintain open lines of communication with us r3volutionaries. :)
