I just got interviwed by the news!!

I filed a recall petition against our very unpopular mayor in New Orleans. I didn't expect such a timely response from the media. They caught me by surprise at my front door when I was about to go back to work today. I'm not sure when it will air. Maybe the evening news. If you live in New Orleans, it should be airing at some point on WDSU Channel 6. If not, they may post it on their website at WDSU.com. I have DVR, but I wish I could youtube it. I have to get busy collecting signatures, though. I don't really have the time to learn new things at the moment.

My interview actually looked great. I was nervous as can be, but they aired some of the finer points. They aired different segments of my interview on both the 5:00 and 6:00 news. They didn't play the part where I said that I am a Ron Paul supporter, and my interest in politics has been heightened by the recent presidential election. I guess that is ok. I'm not sure if that would have helped me at all to reach my goal of nearly 80,000 signatures in such a Democratic city.

My mom thinks that I should be scared, but I told her "hey, Ron Paul is still alive, right?"

Not yet. I see that the website has a function to watch live. They will probably talk about it again at 10PM central time. I hope that they post it as a story on the site soon.
