This is really pathetic. We have the most liberal senator as president - a Democrat. We have a Democratic majority in Congress. We have a Democratic majority in the Senate. We have Republicans being voted down and out everywhere. We have a one party rule. We lost our country to Socialism... People are openly supporting Socialism. Flat out. Ask an Obama supporter. They'll even go as far as calling themselves supporters of Socialism - like little puppets of Karl Marx himself.

This is the day we lost our country. To Socialism. Good old USSA.

It may even be worse than the day Bush took office with a Republican Congress and brought us all Fascism. Time will tell.

Funny, I could have sworn we lost our country sometime around 1865.

I can't believe this is happening. I'm just in a state of shock thinking we elected the most liberal person into office as president. Just can't believe it.

You're not alone. That's the only solace I can give you. :(

I agree with Cleaner. We lost our country in the year 2000. We just didn't know it at that time.

Here's an edit... 1913 to be exact.

I don't think anyone here can. I feel like we just elected a Stalin or a Hitler as president... like we just elected a criminal.

What scares me even more is that we didn't elect a single liberty candidate. Not a single RP candidate. We lost. We lost. And we lost big. This proves that the Socialism has taken the hearts and minds of Americans... We've lost.

You'd think we'd be getting used to it by now.

This reminds me of when I was arguing over Bill Clinton with a young socialist from Mali.

I told him, "Bill Clinton is a murderer, a drug dealer, an arms dealer, and a racketeer."

He just looked at me and said, "But dese are de tings you must do to be president!"

It's particularly interesting that my commentator mentioned that BHO had the third highest popular vote, right behind FDR and LBJ. Doesn't bode well...

We didnt loose our country yesterday
We losted it somewhere in the Bush43 years.
Bush has so f*cked up the GOP that I really wonder if even Reagan could have kept the white house from the dems. Notice I didnt say from obama.
Who ever won the dem primary was going to win the whitehouse. it wasnt because obama was super great or anything like that.

Bush has pissed off the base.....his neocons have conservatives (the real base of the GOP) on life support. He trashed the platform, trashed limited govt, trashed our foreign policy, trashed our banking system, trashed the dollar

HOW THE HELL DID THE GOP THINK IT WAS GOING TO WIN????....and win with another moderate RINO?????

If the GOP is going to learn lessons from 2008.......it must first realize that Bush was a failure.
Chasing "independents" ie moderates by moving to the middle will continue to loose elections. Reagan (through talk of liberty and limited govt) made the middle move to him......big big big difference. Good God he took 49 states!!!

I heard these stupid sheep on a local radio station earlier saying "we need to not work as individuals, but collectively as a society under Obama's leadership."

Where's that barf emoticon?
