Seems some have been writing in Lew Rockwell for pres. :)

Writes Hillary Kirby:

Regarding your advice not to vote, today I chose instead to vote for the local elections only. I voted for all the local libertarian candidates, and voted out all the local judges. Most importantly, for president I voted for the one person who has enlightened me the most about libertarianism---you! That's right, I wrote in Lew Rockwell for president, I hope you don't mind. Everyone told me I was wasting my vote and that Florida doesn't count write-ins, but I choose not to participate in the popularity contest between McBama and Ocain. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

UPDATE from Brian Hagen:

Lew's name is now on at least two ballots in the nation, as I, choosing to vote locally, also wrote in the Rockwell name. Ron Paul for president, Lew Rockwell for vice. Upon seeing it in those blank spaces, kindly provided to me by the election officials, "Paul/Rockwell" looked so presidentiall...and allowed me to put on the happy little sticker, knowing that I had, somehow, made a difference.

Haha, awesome.

Lew wouldn't accept the position, but thats ok! It's the thought that counts ;)

Maybe.

After proposing the abolish the government bill I'm sure he'd resign. ;)
