I was blessed today. I went into the booth to vote and did not have to hold my nose and vote for McCain; Ron Paul was on the ballot as the candidate for some obscure third party called the Louisiana Taxpayer Party or something like that. I voted third party in '04 and promised myself that I would never again compromise my principles and vote for the lesser of two evils. Today I was prepared to do just that until I saw Ron Paul's name on the ballot.
I pushed Ron's button for you John McCain; for you Rudy; for you Huckaby; for you Romney. I pushed his button for all of you sanctimonious Republicans who attempted to ridicule perhaps the most principled man to run for president since Thomas Jefferson. But mostly, I pushed Ron's button for all of the spineless so-called Americans who have stood in silence since 1940 and allowed these buffoons, both Democrat and Republican to steal our children's birthright, a free country overflowing with Liberty. For it is we who are to blame for what is to come. God help us all.
