Last night on C-Span radio a caller who I'm 99% sure was a black woman was going on there to say she was voting for Baldwin. She laid out the whole NWO story and how Chuck Baldwin was the only candidate that would protect national sovereignty and the value of the dollar. She railed on about the Fed and the IRS. I was impressed by her knowledge of these issues and by the fact that she said she would never vote for someone based on their race or gender.

I voted Baldwin.

I was tempted to vote for Barr because the Libertarians have some pretty impressive candidates on the ballot locally. A professor, a lawyer, a couple of doctors - the party is slowly evolving it seems.

But Baldwin worked tirelessly for Ron Paul during the primaries. Ron Paul endorsed him. And he just seems to best match my views politically.

So I voted for the local Libertarians, and Baldwin.

Michigan gives voters a chance of voting for a straight party ticket. But because the judges are non-partisan, a party vote doesn't include judges, and therefore lots of people end up inadvertently not voting for judges We have a Ron Paul Republican running for the Chief Justice position, and his name was the first name listed. So it's a long shot - but maybe!

I voted for Baldwin at 9:01 a.m. this morning. I'm usually the 20th or so person to vote. Today I was 236. The turnout was remarkable.

It took me 35 minutes to get through the line this morning...normally takes 5 min. But I voted for Baldwin and am very happy about it.

I voted for Baldwin despite a lady at church last week telling me "If you don't vote for McCain you are voting for EVIL"

Voted Baldwin in Texas (write-in). I didn't know how write-ins worked before approaching the machine and the lady thought I wanted to write-in for everything on the ballot lol.

I voted CB and so did my girlfriend. I do not agree with a few of CB's comments/stances but I know if he did become POTUS Ron Paul would be pulling his strings.

I wore my bright red Rally for the Republic shirt. I got a few stares. One person actually told me I couldn't wear a political shirt (not true, as Ron Paul is not on the ballot in AL). I pointed to the woman to my left wearing a shirt with a HUGE photo of Obama's head on the front and the word "HOPE" at the bottom. After seeing this she spoke no more.

I wrote in Baldwin, just for fun. This is the most absurd election I've ever seen in my life! :p I have difficulty in finding a reason to care now. Do you have one?

Voted Baldwin also. took me 15minutes, there were only 10 people in front of me; a far cry from the mess at some polls I saw today.

I walked to my polling place and voted for Baldwin today. It felt pretty good. Other than that, I voted mostly anti-encumbent and mostly Republican.

Voted for Baldwin with my wife tonight, making at least four Baldwin votes from our family, then we went to Chick-Fil-A for free chicken sandwiches.

It's been a great evening so far.

BALLLLLDWINNN!

It would be pretty frikkin stupid to vote Mccain (like my family), just because I'd rather him than Obama. My Dad says its a wasted vote (even a vote for Obama), but It doesn't matter to me who gets in REP/DEM all the same to me, we need HOPE FOR AMERICA!!!

I voted for Chuck as well, along with my girl. My neighborhood is pretty much 1/3 white, 1/3 black, and 1/3 latino. The only other white person in my polling place (other than the pollworkers) was a girl who said she was voting for Obomba. The democrats were organized, handing out slate cards in front of the building. Huge turnout, had to actually stand in line for the first time in my life. Saw touch screen machines and asked for a paper ballot - I've only been forced to use those damn machines once, was glad I had the paper (provisional, here in PA) ballot option this time. Had to write Chuck in. Platts got my vote this time around because he voted for the bailout (voted against him last time because of his votes on the "patriot act", "homeland security", etc). Voted Libertarian for every other position on the ballot, except for a local race (state senate, if I remember correctly) where there wasn't one running - other than Platts, he was the only Republican I voted for.

Thanks for the welcome....I've been a lurker here for awhile, but decided to post today. Seeing people who share my beliefs out en masse on this forum is just overwhelming in a great way!

The only results I've seen for third party candidates on TV so far is Barr and Nader. I am really interested in Montana and Louisiana to see how Ron Paul is doing since he made it onto their ballots!

Cheers!

In my county Baldwin has 57 votes (0.39%).

3rd-party candidates have 238 votes for roughly 1.7%.
